I have been using 7.1 but find there are some issues with it and yes i have the latest and greatest . Also I believe Carlson to be the best software on the planet for surveying but seems to me that when you make a soup the base has to be right or the whole soup taste like crap . Carlson make some great software but they have a lot of soups on the menu , the base stock is not perfect. Fix intellicad . Thats the only reason I am looking around . Frustration .

and were did Google_image go it says I need GNSS , Please have them put it back .

If I could get through one drawing wih out some bug hitting me I would be thrilled .

General cad vs Carlson - DJ

> Some notable commands I could not find : twist view , bearing and curve tables , auto add points to a polyline .

DJ .. bearing/curve tables are in. Typing BQ will get you into the setup menu

A lot of unexplored (by me) options exist in this menu, but clicking on the buttion labeled "Curve Label Setup" brings up the sub menu for curve labeling.

I like how one can choose the order and types of info to be displayed..

Here's a pic of a recent RS I just finished showing the tables..

As far as the other commands you mentioned, why dont you just join the GCP forum and ask about those features. There is a command PT which inserts survey points into a drawing..Im a pretty basic survey guy, so there may already be commands in place that I have never needed to use.
