I have downloaded a filed map in tif format, only choice. It has a cover page and the map. How do I separate the two pages into separate tifs to insert only page 2 into my CAD drawing? I am using FastStone and Carlson Survey. In Carlson only page 1 of the tif file appears to show up.

I use Irfanview.
Be sure to download all the addons for full use of the program.
It is also great for inverting or creating a negative version of the file.

I don't have a multi page TIFF to test, but I know you can bring in one page out of a PDF file just using the regular attach command. With a multi page PDF, there will be thumbnails of the pages that show up, and you are able to select which pages you wish to import. Be aware though, if you select more than one page to import, they will come in on top of each other. You can still select them and move them apart from each other. Perhaps that's the issue you're seeing right now. Have you tried moving the one page you see off to the side to reveal the second page you'd like?

BTW, you didn't specify a CAD engine, but I am speaking regular Autocad.

I had some time to play with FastStone and found that I had to choose the opion before opening the tiff, "Create", then "Multi-Page File Splitter".
