Has anyone had in running Carlson over the top of Civil 3D? We like many features that Carlson has and we've been running it on AutoCAD for 8 years now. Civil 3D has lots of dynamic capabilities that we can capitalize on and now we want to make the switch to Civil 3D but we want some input from some other people who have done the same. Any input would be appreciated 🙂

I have been enjoying it. Carlson and I have been ignoring most of the C3D goodies, but I have successfully delivered a few surfaces to an engineer.

We use them together, started doing this out of hate for the original LDD FTF which was a nightmare and found Carlson much easier. Since we are now at C3D 15 and Carlson 14 we are thinking of checking out processing FTF in autocad again.

I've installed both of the programs and it seems like when Carlson is put on top of C3D, all of the C3D menus go away. What seems to work is when I load the Carlson profile when I want to use those features and load the C3D imperial profile when I want to use alignments and things like that. Am I missing an easier way to accomplish this?
