I have recently purchased a Windows 8.1 tablet with SurvPC.?ÿ I know that this is a dumb question, but does SurvPC have a built in keyboard??ÿ I keep having to minimize and maximize the Windows keyboard after typing every time.?ÿ I am thinking that surely there is an easier way.?ÿ Any help would be greatly appreciated.?ÿ Thanks in advance.

?ÿ

Sincerely,

Daniel

So simple that you'll kick yourself...I know I did after having to ask one of the Carlson reps at TAPS this year.?ÿ Go to the Equip tab, then tap on Configure, scroll down the list until you see "Use virtual keyboard", check the box for this item and you'll be a happy camper.?ÿ ??ÿ

How do you like using a windows tablet with SurvPC? Any Bluetooth?ÿconnection issues or issues otherwise in comparison to the branded DCs?

Windows tablets are by far the best data collectors IMO. I have a surface pro that I use for testing and never have any connection issues at all. In the field and being able to read in full sunlight, the Trimble TSc7 / Spectra Ranger 7 are by far the absolute best win10 tablets/data collectors on the market right now. Its not even a competition at this point.
