Carlson Survey GIS menu

Carlson Survey comes with a few GIS commands, but the help file talks mostly about the commands in the GIS module, which I don't have. The tools to attach an image and pull it up later are cool, and I suspect there are more cool things I could be using it for. Does anyone have a resource that explains those commands? A tutorial or a video perhaps?
