I'm working on a staking project and have been creating cut sheets in Excel and using a stack of papers in the field.?ÿ I see in SurvCE there is an option for digital cut sheets.?ÿ When I go to try loading them the software appears to accept 3 file types:?ÿ .csv, .txt, and .rpt.?ÿ I've created both .csv and .txt files of the data but when I try to open either of them in the cut sheet routine I get an error telling me the selected file is not a cut sheet file.
From poking around on the web there doesn't seem to be a clear answer to this but I'm assuming I need to create these files inside some other Carlson software for it to work.?ÿ Anyone out there familiar with what I'm talking about and have some tips?
You can generate cut sheets in Carlson Survey for a variety of tasks.
They have a tutorial for it in the desktop software.?ÿ I have the civil suite, which contains the survey module.?ÿ
OK, so I do need the drafting software to make this work, that's kinda what I figured.
No, see page 65 of the SurvCE 5 manual. Link below.
Allows all sorts of customization options.?ÿ
