I recently had a complete computer meltdown. I had all data backed up on Carbonite. I recovered all data and re-loaded my legal copy of Carslon 2013 Survey with embedded Autocad after having to rebuild a new computer with the same operating system. I can start or pull up a drawing. Everything runs fast for the first miniute or so then most commands takes 20 seconds to respond. Super slow. I added 16MB of memory , more than the previous computer had. Not sure why the program started to run so slow. Any suggestions???? Gary

Sounds like maybe a hardware problem. Things run great until they get to full heat. Like maybe the CPU isn't properly attached to it's heat sink. That happens with new builds sometimes.

Check your registration, it sounds like Carlson is in demo mode where all Carlson commands trigger a 20-30 second delay. Any change to the computer, including hard-drive swaps, motherboard changes, or even a major O/S upgrade can cause your change code to be invalidated. The last major Win10 upgrade broke all of my Carlson machines until I called and got new change codes.
