My points have started coming in like this.?ÿ I have not picked the circle as an point symbol, and I can't find anyway to turn it off.?ÿ Is there a data collector setting that does this??ÿ In the point menu of carlson I have picked the "x" at 0.04 size.
How do I turn this off!

If you go to points-settings and select the symbol you want, they should plot in carlson the way you want them to if you are plotting a .csv file.
Guessing you're showing us the PC screen, and not the DC screen. Point Defaults under the Points menu, and you can select the icon. Unless I'm missing something here.
Another thing to check would be your DDPTYPE. Make sure it's not set to a circle.
Going from memory and not sure if that's the command or if it's PDMODE.
PDMode needs to be set to 0 or I use SPT0 for the carlson point and pdmode 3 for "x"
