I bought a license to enable me to run the hydrology module. But I cannot see how to cause it to run. Not intuitive in the help menu. Can anyone help me figure out how to load it?

Ralph, thanks. I got that, but it says hydrology module not licensed. I am having trouble licensing it although I just purchased it online.

You will probably need tech support, to kick it off.

Hi Frank,
I've done it before with the construction module, I can't remember the process but it didn't require anything technical.
It might have been an update.

Sorry I couldn't help

Ralph

Did they send you the serial number to activate the module?

Goto About on menu bar & check "Change Registration & Validate Installation"

Hopefully you have alot of patience.
Last year I demo'd that module and was not able to get it to function properly.
Every time I wanted to execute a hydro calc, Autocad would run out of memory and crash.
I submitted a support request with sample data and my computer specs. and didnt hear back for a week or so.
I followed up and never got a resolution. I re-installed Autocad and still had issues.
I gave up with the assumption that the software was not ready for prime time.

It's probably that 386 computer that you are trying to run it on. 😛 😀

Actually it's a Commodore 64 with 64Kb of memory. Should be plenty of horse power right?

Seriously - I was using a newer work station.

I'm just getting back from a week of vacation with my family but have dispatched an inquiry to my Louisiana colleagues to see if they've been made aware of the transaction. Since I'll be on the road again tomorrow, I've asked them to follow-up with you as quickly as possible. If the transaction was processed successfully, you should have received an Email confirmation of the purchase and the serial number under separate cover.

Hey Nate, what you want to bet that the new computer has a 5 1/4" drive? 😀 😉

Frank, you have help in two locations that you should be dogging until you have what you need.
Being in Alexandria, I will assume that you got your software from NEI, Inc.. That's our vendor also. My area rep is Robert Martin out of Mulberry, Ark. Even though I am in Mississippi, Robert is here helping us on a regilar basis with some new things we are trying to do. Call him at 501-681-7779 and see what he can do for you.
Your second option is your district Carlson Rep., Aaron Newman. Call him at 479-200-8320 and see what he says.
Carlson is a firm believer in customer support, you just have to know who to call for local help.
