I'm on two learning curves at the same time by going from Carlson 2006 with embedded Acad 2004 to Carlson 2014 with embedded Icad. It wasn't all at once. I had Icad versions from 2010 on, but did my work with the 2006/ Acad 2004 while trying to learn
the Icad versions, build after build. So OK, I think I can make it with the 2014, but with the advent of win 7, my HP 750C+ (which does not, and I understand will not ever have a driver for Win 7). So I bought an Epson SC T3000 24" roll feed printer (plotter to me, but Epson insists it is a printer, so OK).
I had my notebooks' hard drive partitioned so I can work in XP or Win 7, but I haven't gotten to the Win 7 learning curve yet. Right now I am trying to get a clear communication established between 2014 Icad and the Epson T3000. Plot styles (sorry, I meant Print styles) are currently eating my lunch.
Anyone else playing out on this edge of the arena?

"...my HP 750C+ (which does not, and I understand will not ever have a driver for Win 7)."
Most XP drivers will work on Vista and Windows 7. Just make sure you get the 64-bit XP version if you're putting it on 64-bit Windows 7.
I thought my HP-600 was ready for the scrap heap until I tried loading the 64-bit XP driver on my Windows 7 machine. I also had to get a parallel-printer-port-to-USB adapter. Now my old plotter works like a champ with C3D on Windows 7.
