Working with an imported DWG that has all of the text as a Block Reference. The typeset is way too large and cannot be reduced - locked. Other than Exploding it, is there a better way to convert to a style all of the Block references to alter the size etc.? Tried using scale. Doesn't work.
What drawing mode is best to work in - Model or sheet?
Thanks.
Mapman,
What do you have set for INSUNITS in your System Variables?
Dave
Thanks for the reply. I left work for the day and will check it tomorrow. Sorry I don't have an answer.
I'm thinking of going for Carlson at this point anyway. Civil 3D is making my head hurt. 😉
I exported the drawing from an old Foresight.pro job to a DWG and wanted to see how much pain was involved in getting it to open. It doesn't look terrible, just the typeset is huge.
select the block and right click
choose edit block
manipulate the text size in the block editor
_bclose is the command to escape from the block editor.
I recently discovered the beauty of using blocks for drawing record plats in their original basis of bearing (BOB) then convert to a block. Then you can align the block to your own BOB and the bearings of record will remain.
