I have been using AutoCAD 360 on my phone, it's a very handy tool. I upload files to my Google Drive and open them in the field. I can look at traverse point numbers and places I need more shots. I send drawings to my crew with coordinates to look for monuments or to stake. Now with the snow I can measure to objects in my drawing to help locate traverse points I set months ago. I believe it's free, my son and I loaded it months ago and we are still using it. It worked on both my android and his IPhone. It has saved me lots of field print outs.

They have a free version and a paid version. The paid version gives you the ability to create a new drawing in the app and gives you more tools and capabilities. The paid version is a subscription that runs four or five dollars a month.

I think it comes free with your yearly subscription tribute to Autodesk

If you have Arcmap and Avenza PDF you can also see your drawing on your phone/tablet.
Georeference a scanned record of survey and literally walk around on top of the map!

I believe you can also do the same with a third party plug in for Adobe (TerraGo) (drawing to geopdf).

Free with subscription but not the maintenance plans. So if you own your software and pay yearly/dearly to stay current, 360pro will cost $5 per month or $50 per year based on what I just read on the AutoCAD360 page.

There must be a file size limit on the free version, my son told me today that when he tried to open the drawing today that a message popped up saying he need to upgrade to view the drawing. He said he was able to view other drawings I had sent him.
There are about 20,000 points in this half of the project, plus all the drafting entities. Maybe about 10mb.

Go figure. I purchased my initial copy of AutoCAD when I started out on my own 19 years ago and have been paying them annually ever since. I could have sworn that at one point it came with our annual tribute. If I access it on-line I have no problem but I just downloaded the app for my surface and it says welcome to your 30 day trial. I have to call today anyway, that time of year again, to renew my maintenance fee so I going to ask about it.

The web site says to log in with your AutoCAD ID or the same email and password that you use for your Autodesk maintenance account and it will automatically upgrade you to AutoCAD360pro if you're eligible.

If your surface is strong enough to run full AutoCAD you can probably load it under the home license provision. They will allow you to load on a laptop or machine at home as long as the home and office copies are not used simultaneously.

Yeah, I have that on a laptop currently. My main use for 360 is looking for control and field checks and I think I can still red line in the basic version.
