Another Trimble Access Roading question

Didn't want to derail the post below.

Using Access to set some slope stakes on a small road job. I guess it's the first time since I switched from Survey Controller, and I thought they worked pretty much the same. However, there were some things that were different and I couldn't get it to work the same.

Road created in Terramodel with alignments and templates, converted to an rxl. In Trimble Survey Controller, for slope staking you could stakeout by station and offset, and one of the options when you selected the template offset allowed you plug in a slope and find the catch point. Once you found it, you could hit accept, then report, and it would show the cuts/fills and distance to every break in the template.

In Access, I don't see the option to slope stake from a template offset. I can just stake to the point do the math in my head to set it, but I don't see a way to get a report either. In a cut, I will usually write the cut and distance to the ditch, and also the cut and distance to the shoulder, which was easy in SC. Is there some setting I can change in Access to do this? This is NOT the same as side slope from alignment, which references centerline.

Also, since the roads command is separate in Access, I can't figure a way to key in a point while in it. Have to escape out, switch to General Survey to get the Key in Point button. Surely there must be another way. Wasn't a problem in SC.

Any tips appreciated.

After setting your slope stake, review job. [sarcasm]The answers are there but why can't they be where you need them?[/sarcasm]

I'm not good with the Roads program, but to key in your point you don't have to exit all the way out of it; just hit the Trimble key and go to it. True you do have to open General Survey and go to Key In, but you can leave General Survey open and use the Trimble key to navigate.
