Has anyone tried using a 3d mouse (eg 3dConnexxion Spacemouse pro with Trimble Business Center, particularly Heavy Construction Edition?

Looked at CDW, they are $340-$440. Not sure it would make that much difference.

I have that mouse but have never tried it in TBC.. use it for photogrammetry. It is hard to get used to, the resistance on the device and rotation takes some practice. Expect to not like it at first... definitely takes some getting used to.

I don;t use TBC, so, I cannot answer your question. I use these mice daily though and they are very awesome. Google Earth is very cool after you click the box to let the mouse take over. My comment is more slight rant, 3D Connection has an SDK, why don't more manufacturers come on board?
