I was pretty sure this was mentioned on the board back in May 2014 on the passing of Keith Houseman, BUT a search of the board on "Houseman" turns up nothing.

KEITH ARLEN HOUSEMAN Keith Arlen Houseman, 64, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2014 in Rio Bravo, Tamaulipas. Keith was born in Morrison, IL on October 21, 1950 to Donald and Dorothy Houseman. He was an entrepreneur who owned his own business, Geographic Information Systems. He had a passion for surveying, as well as a passion for spending time with his children. During his life, Keith also enjoyed playing ping pong and pool. Faithful in worship, Keith attended church at St. Paul, Lutheran Church. He is survived by his children, Ann, Cristian, Jhovani, Jordi, and Linda Houseman, and his mother Dorothy Houseman of Morrison, IL. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 20 at 5:30 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, McAllen, TX. A memorial service will be held at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Morrison, IL at a later date. The body will be laid to rest in Sterling, IL. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Virgil Wilson Mortuary of Mission, TX.

Keith and I used to e-mail once in a while and if I am not mistaken he was a partner or maybe the owner of Holguin that wrote the Holguin CEADS surveying software way back in the early 1980's for the Wang 2200 computer. We used that software in 1982 at the company where I worked.

Anyway, those of you that may of been friends with him on FB will be notified that tomorrow is his birthday, sadly Keith will have no more birthdays here on earth.

And surely there must be a way to advise FB that I no longer need to wish Keith a HBD each October 21st?

SHG

I believe there is a way you can turn his Facebook page into a Memorial page. They need proof of an Obituary or something to show that he passed. Sorry for your loss. 🙁
