Hi people,
Since I am a total beginner in this area, I have one question for you.
Is this drone: https://www.amazon.com/Yuneec-Typhoon-Quadcopter-Aluminum-Camera/dp/B00XKDDIUS/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8
suitable for photogrammetry ?
I have a good offer for this one (about 600euros) and dont have much money, so I am looking for cheap but usable solution.
Thanks!

The camera payload on that aircraft is not ideal for photogrammetry, but flown under the right parameters you can get good results. The camera has a linear rolling shutter, meaning light is exposed to the sensor one line of pixels
at a time. When the camera is in motion this can cause image blur, and thus poor accuracy. To compensate for this I recommend flying at 200ft or below and less than 20 mph. Pix4D photogrammetry software also has an algorithm specifically designed to help correct for the linear rolling shutter effect.

Thank you,
I realy dont have any experience with photography and drones, so every advice is precious to me.
Also have offer for Phantom 3 advanced in same price, is it better from Yuneec for my needs?

Hello Friend,
Assuming you are wanting something for surveying/photogrammetry purposes I would get the P3A. I have a P3P (pro model) in my fleet, and have gotten some reasonably good results (not actual professional quality) using both Pix4DMapper and Agisoft PhotoScan Pro photogrammetry software. While the P3P shoots 4k video and the P3A only shoots 1080 video, they both have the same 12mp camera for shooting stills. The good thing about P3A is that MapsMadeEasy has an excellent app (ipod) called Map Pilot that will fly the thing and take pics autonomously according to your designed (design the flight plan inside the app) flight plan. The app costs something like $10.
