I like Wendell's "Your Other Left" series. In fact, I like his choice of "Your Other Left" for a name.

So, what is your favorite comic, he has produced?

IF we could get a consensus of the top 3, then he would have an idea of what cartoon to produce first (For the Tee Shirt series).

Personally, I want one like this:

SURVEYOR (in big black letters, across the back)

Then, fake bullet holes all over it. (That just about says it all!)

And, then, "NO! Your OTHER left" down lower on the back, or on the front. (Said, like a sort of impatient, and frustrated party chief, to the new guy)

This is one of the most common phrases newbies hear, when they try to participate for a day.

If they were bright yellow, or orange, I'd wear it alot.

Just me thinking out loud.

What do you think?

Nate

For jeebus pete's sake, Nate. He's only produced something like three in the series to date. Can't we just let him 'grow it' a little before we start in with this 'top' whatever lists? Besides, I was bucking for a co-writer's position long before you.

😉 , you silly goose.

Lots of jokes out there too for our newbies. I always like the one from the hand signal days. As the PC was trying to communicate with the bosses daughter on her first day, signaling for the hammer via a pounding motion.

She signaled back from 400 ft away by:

First pointing at her eye,
then grasping her left breast,
then finally grasping her crotch.

Perplexed and scratching his head, the PC walked back and asked her what in the heck that was....

...she replied "...Eye Left Tit in the Box..."

There's gotta be a tee shirt in there somewhere..;-)

shirts

I want a t-shirt that says SurveyorConnect on the left front chest and then has the large logo on the back. White, safety green or orange t-shirt. I would also buy a polo style shirt with the small SurveyorConnect logo on the left front chest.

As for the comic shirts, I like the "Whoops multiplied" sketch on the back with "Your Other Left" on the front left.

I did not know that there were only 3 so far.... Somehow I thought Wendell had more out there, but not (but will be) under the new name.

Anyway, I really want the one with bullet (fake) holes in it.

THANK You!

I'd like to suggest a little link spot, on your site, for dropping cartoon hints, and ideas, complete with a little write up that:

IF we use your idea, you MIGHT and MIGHT not get credit. Ideas may be blended with others, modified, and meddled with, until you cannot figure out the original idea. Somebody else may have already sent us your idea, and so even if your idea seems to be in print, well, we may give others credit for it, (or not) We don't want to worry about credit. Just to make 'em. So, if you want to give us your idea, do it. But don't ever get mad at us. That is the deal. OK, send your ideas to the following link___________.

I somehow think that Wendell likes cartooning! And, I have a few ideas. I will send a few to you.

THANK You!

Thanks, Nate! I do like receiving ideas and have received several thus far. I am keeping a list and do intend to give credit, whether it just be your name or a link to your website. For one person, he asked if I would add a certain "element" to the cartoons based on his ideas instead of using his name, and I am happy to do that, when possible.

You can use the contact form to suggest ideas or you can just email 'em. 🙂

And yes, I very much enjoy cartooning. It's a hobby and it gets me away from the computer for a little while.

When I was in Canada I had a funny situation which may qualify to be pictured in Your Other Left. There was a drafter in our office, English was her second language, she has been in Canada for a few years but the word "surveyor" was not in her dictionary and she was calling us survivors 🙂 (meaning surveyors)

She was probably right, snowmobillig at -30C, cutting trees required some surviving skills 🙂
