Space satellite or maybe part of a large array radio telescope, but except for that Mars rover, can't think of any recent space news. The "ESA" at the bottom I'm guessing stands for the European Space Agency. Speaking of space, remember this photo of 911? Doesn't seem that long ago.

a solar reflector array? seems like the 'collector' in the center is missing, though

Sorry. We don't get much news from northern Nevada around here. Now I know why.

Google is my friend.;-) Took a couple of tries, but "ESA satellite imagery" turned up the answer on the first page of hits.

Looks way to organized for burning man. For some reason I thought that would be more chaotic!

I was curious about the layout as well. Seems the chaos got out of control and the BLM forced some rules to protect the desert. The pattern is created by the road system created for the event. Wikipedia has more than you'd ever care to know about it under "burning man".

“Around 50,000 people gathered in northern Nevada's Black Rock Desert for the 25th Burning Man Festival, partying and celebrating for a week. A "city" is built each year and totally dismantled after the event.”

Is this like a “Woodstock” 2011 deal? I bet the dope dealers had to have Wells Fargo transport the cash out of there. 😉

Have a great week!
