THAT SUCKS!!
It's not even Winter...wtf!?!?!?
Time to get a PRV in line from the meter...
did that back in 2020, and then relaid the floors and did the drywall...
Yep I'll take my 98°F ditch and post holes digging.
Damn the luck you had for a pipe to burst...

Oh my, I still use the term: 'Chainman' . Please excuse me for a moment while I fetch a glass of warm milk and Metamucil.
alpha and Omega are set
the minions will fall in line online in the morning.
Humm, does that shadow belong to the inspector? It appears that he is carrying a six-pack. That is usually a quick guarantee of approval.
ha. that's just the cuff of my left glove. I didn't stop until around 2030, ate dinner alone after a shower and then went to bed.
today to finish then back to the normal life of a crew chief and office flunkies.
@flga-2-2 Everytime a water pipe breaks it’s always on a day and hour when you can’t make a trip to get what you need to fix it. I have accumulated fittings and pipes just for that very reason. Every time i need something new i buy 2 so i have a extra one in shed. Only problem now is remembering I bought the extra.
Nice work. Hoping the finished product is what you desired.
@jitterboogie slow down man. I got humbled this year. It slowed me down from being a wild man every afternoon and weekend. I can ship my 8 year old up she works hard but I warn you she doesn’t work cheap and she has a screwed business ability that will empty your bank account. We were at my wife’s cousin’s the other morning. Her husband is dean of a business school at university. We were discussing business and i was learning all i could as we watched the kids play in pool. The 8 year old was all ears. Asking questions. But she can dig i tell you dig. Just come check my pasture she has dug some holes.
18 post holes filled 4x4 string lined 24 bags 60 lb concrete mixed stuffed tamped cleaned done in 3 hours then a 6-hour drive back to home Good times
I used to buy two of everything. Never can find the "spare" when I need it so gave up with that idea and any and all DIY stuff around the house. Every time I "fix" something it ends up broken worse than when I started.
Next time a pipe busts I'm calling Edgar Montrose Demolition Services, Inc. to address the problem once and for all.
@flga-2-2 . I feel the same way sometimes. But my stubborn streak will not let me stop. However the wife is wise and often calls a neighbor who is a plumber and I never know until after the fact. I was in South America once had just replaced the supply line on hot water heater on hot side before i left. Two days later the cold side got a pin hole. Thank goodness for good neighbors she called and his wife sent him over . The wife was pregnant and she was not waiting on me to get back lol.
