Just so you know why I get a bit out of kilter once in awhile.?ÿ Was working for a farmer way back over 50 years ago.?ÿ We were building fence using hedge posts he had cut for the job.?ÿ One would not have been long enough except that it took a sharp curve to the right and kept going up to be tall enough once set.?ÿ The base must have been misshapen to where it wouldn't slip in the hole easily.?ÿ I was trying to jam it in by force.?ÿ That worked fine until I happened to rotate the post a bit, then gave a powerful downward thrust with it.?ÿ It broke loose and went all the way to the bottom of the hole while simultaneously bonking me on the top of my noggin and nearly knocking me out.?ÿ Stars and little tweetie birds circled around my skull.
The base must have been misshapen to where it wouldn't slip in the hole easily.
That's because it was upside down....... ?????ÿ
