LOL!
Gorgeous...
Absolutely gorgeous pics!! But I already knew that was going to happen, coming from you. 🙂
You went to the Blue Lagoon!! How was the water?? Slimy? Warm? Weird? I've always wanted to go there (and to Iceland) after seeing it on The Amazing Race.
Thanks for sharing...Where is your next adventure going to be? Can't wait to see the pics. :bye:
My thanks to Don Poole
Many thanks for the pics, have about 20 folks I hyperlink every time you put these up. Everybody says hi and thanks as well, keep feeding that traveling jones.
I’ve invited the “other” Deral to Florida for Bike Week, however as explained in his earlier post, his sojourn doesn’t include southern latitudes. I suspect he is suffering from that dreadful phenomenon some cretins, like me, describe as “lack ‘o nookie”. I wish him a safe and exciting trip too!
If you and, of course SWMBO, ever decide to expose yourselves to that miraculous solar event called the sun and the warmth associated therewith (you may melt, considering your obvious preference of living near the Arctic Circle) just let us Florida surveyors know and we might be able to house y’all for a few days!
Have a great weekend!
Soon You Will have The Man In Black Beat!
Some Winnemucca memories are best forgotten.:-|
I laid out some mining claims near there one time.
Never mind.....
Don
I appreciate the invite and I have enough friends in Florida to make an entire summer trip out of it. Maybe though I'll do it come fall when the leaves are falling in SW Okie land.
I've been promising a cute little realtor and her hubby that I would come for a visit. Maybe not bike week but when your season is still in bloom. I just have to watch out for them cue tips on the bike. Mercy.
Absolutly stunning Photos Daryl.
Ah, you may want to change the date at the beginning. You're living in the past.:-)
Great photography. I was in Reykjavik once but never left the airport (darn). How do you manage to do all this international travel? I mean how long ago were you in Krakow?
I think the dried fish heads, and backbones, are the left over part of filets. The sell the boneless filets, and make soup out of the leftovers.

Gorgeous...
Angel...that water is seawater that is superheated far below ground...the entire lagoon cycles every 40 hours...the bottom is sand and other areas of white mud...they put out buckets of the white mud with ladles that people use to put on their faces... There is a positive health benefit from the minerals and algae in the lagoon and can be felt for hours afterwards.
Next adventure is probably surveying related...

It's kind of a nice airport
I always wanted to write a travel book in the vein of Frommers...
Only about 30% of Americans have passports compared to around 75% of Brits (1.5% Chinese)...there's a number of reasons for this but one of them is North Americas geographical isolation and the expense that incurs on international travel ... so the focus is on alleviating the expense by traveling to winter areas in off seasons when airfare is at its absolute lowest ... funneling finance through frequent flier cards for free airline tickets ... doing an activity abroad that generates cash like stock photography or travel writing or ... and keeping current with budget travel magazines, guides, and travel phone apps will literally save hundreds of dollars.
