I went to PT the other morning carrying my walker under my arm...the Doc said I was ready for a cane.
These new al u minimum sticks have push button adjusters and boy are they LIGHT weight!
I bet I can carry it pretty easy.

You are expected to paint alternating red and white stripes on your cane.

... at 1.00 ft intervals with tic marks for use with stadia measurements.
Glad everything went well. Now get back to posting! 😉

Then people will be coming to him and asking for a haircut
I waiting to hear reports about taking line dancing classes as physical therapy.
I can see Dan wanting to Gandy Dance but he would probably settle for Line Dancing.

Still PT 3 days a week...good excuse to leave early.

Hoping to get new right knee strong enough to support having left knee replaced by end of year...out of pocket, etc.

Aloha, Dan: Congratulations! May the healing continue rapidly!
Hi Dan, I am glad you are feeling better. It does beg the question, why did I not do this sooner? I think we all have that little question at times. Keep up the the PT, that is what will get you on your feet sooner. My brother in law broke his left leg (it took the halo) and his right elbow and right wrist. All because he could not figure out how to apply the back brake first and then the front brake on his motorcycle. Thanks, keep up the good work, Jerry.

You're convincing me to go in for my knee. I understand my left knee is bone-on-bone and no meniscus left. They told me I should wait until it is absolutely unbearable to go in. Maybe that has to do with the life of a new knee?? Plus I also already have a Jawbone (only it's called the Jawbone 24).
Glad to hear it's going well.

If you wait too long it will damage the muscles and the tendons. Do it sooner than later. My wife had her knee done in 2009. She should have had it done in 2006. Because of the wait she only got about 85 percent flexibility back due to muscle damage.
Nice to hear you are doing well. In 50-100 years you'll probably be able to walk into a 7-11 and have a heart transplant "while-u-wait". 😉
