I just talked to Nate and they are in the hospital with their oldest girl Hannah. She was bitten by some sort of venomous snake Tuesday night believed to be a cotton mouth.
Poor thing, the burden of living in the woods. Will keep them in our thoughts and prayers.
She apparently was chasing a bullfrog on the river at dark and didn't see the snake.
We will keep her in our prayers. The antivenom will probably work great, but it is still an uncomfortable recovery. Poor little thing. Just proves that the only good snake is a dead snake. Can't stand them things!!

I talked to Nate earlier and they were on the way home. Hannah still needs some recovery at home but seems to be doing ok. Nate's modem is fried so he will not be able to log on for a few days.
