Reminds me of the concert at our venue on Sunday. Bass player jumping and whirling caught the horn player with the end of the bass just below the eye and knocked him down. Bloody mess and will cause a lot of facial discoloration for a while. Just glad it wasn't 2 cm higher. The lead vocalist/guitarist did a solo number to close the show.

That's only the second show stopping injury I've seen there in 20 years. The first was with a group that moved around a lot to different positions and instruments. A gal went behind the fiddle player who was on a fast down bow and she got a broken nose. Again bloody.

FL/GA how many times have you seen people park on the beach at Daytona at low tide and destroy a perfectly good car at high tide?

Back in the olden days me and SWMBO watched about 50 cars floating alongside the Daytona Pier during a Moon tide. The tow truck drivers became millionaires. ?????ÿ

Didn't watch the video, but just from the picture it reminds me of the many times I'd thought to just sit in my Ranger outside the Home Depot and offer my services to the people who think anything will fit on their car.

One time we were there and saw someone trying to put an upright freezer into the back of a Subaru, a few days later I ran into the guy who was trying to help them, he said they had to take the freezer out of the box and remove the door to make it fit. Unfortunately that day we took the Escape not the Ranger, I even commented to SWMBO that if I had the Ranger with me I'd have offered to take their new freezer home for them.

You ought to see what the Home Depot parking lots look like when a named storm is headed towards us. ?????ÿ

@flga-2-2?ÿ

A bunch of plywood being carried by vehicles not made for carrying plywood, I'd bet.

I've often wondered that if the plywood isn't damaged, I would hope they repurpose or save it somehow for the next storm.
