Once again we come to this time of the year. We celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. While we like to think of Him as a helpless baby in the manger, someday soon He will return as the Almighty King, He will be anything but helpless.
My Christmas wish is that everyone would enter into a life changing, saving relationship with Jesus Christ.
The peace that comes with the security a believer has through Jesus is not easily described, it really is beyond explanation. I look forward with great anticipation for the day I get to see Him face to face in Glory.
God Bless you all.
Merry Christmas!
T'wouldn't be Christmas, without Jesus....

And Merry Christmas to you and yours.
Andy
My wife and I took a coupla grandkids to Dickens Faire in San Francisco (a great place for it), and constantly heard "Happy Christmas"; patterned, no doubt, after the man who 'invented' Christmas (in its modern form).

does this mean we can complain about politics now, too??ÿ ?ÿasking for a friend.?ÿ ?ÿ;)
What happened??ÿ I thought I posted on this thread earlier.?ÿ Did I get censured?
apparently so.?ÿ ?ÿ?ÿ
Maybe "Happy Festivus" was too religious, and I need to be more politically correct.?ÿ ??ÿ

If one is censured, they would have to receive a notice of the action,
You were probably censored which requires no notice of the action.
(I like a nice solstice bonfire, It complements the Christmas season.)
Good catch.?ÿ censored.
I bet I just didn't finalize my action of posting.?ÿ I don't think I said anything offensive.
Merry Christmas and Happy Festivus (that's today) everybody.?ÿ?ÿ

I'm curious why your post was censored but not the OP???ÿ Are there rules here or not??ÿ?ÿ
Censor me, ban me, do what you think is right.
Truth is truth! Believe it or not.

Merry Christmas, but I won't apologize for the post!
I don't see anything wrong with someone posting Merry Christmas. If you don't believe in Christmas or don't want to read the thread, don't. If you want to say "Happy Festivus" or "Happy Flying Spaghetti Monster Day", then be my guest. There is nothing harmful in wishing nice things to others, even if you don't believe in what the others believe.
It's when others jump in and make an argument out of it. Like I said, if you don't believe it, don't read the thread. Move on and let the others that do believe discuss among themselves.
Politics is a totally different animal. I used to say the same thing about politics threads -- if you don't want to discuss nicely, walk away -- but apparently that is not possible in this forum, so I got rid of it.?ÿYou guys rarely, if ever, are able to have a calm discussion among yourselves about anything political.
With religious posts, it tends to be a friendly gesture, from my experience. If it got out of hand, I would ban it, too. If you want to start arguing and making offensive comments toward others, expect consequences. If you want to be a total smartass and start posting a bunch of religious posts just to be an ass, you may not last long around here, regardless of your religion or lack thereof.

I am guessing I made the mistake of not actually doing a "save".?ÿ I highly doubt my post was censored.?ÿ mine was not religious or political in nature.
