This past week/weekend, the wife and I spent some time in Las Vegas for the renewal of vows for friends of our celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary.
During our time in Vegas, we visited the Neon Museum and learned that one of the pirate skulls from the Treasure Island hotel and casino is now resting in the boneyard at the museum. This being said, our tour guide told us he can be seen from Google Earth so I had to check it out.
Sure nuff, there he is! Aarrrgh
You went to Vegas in the middle of summer?! You're brave!! ??ÿ
I took these in August 2015 from the airplane. Neat to see cities from a birdseye view. ??ÿ
Today is our Silver Anniversary too! ?ÿOuch, that is old people talk.
Wow!?ÿ Today is our 53rd.
Today is our Silver Anniversary too! ?ÿOuch, that is old people talk.
Congratulations ! to you and Dave.
My 50th is next June.?ÿ ? (Goint to Reno and get a divorce if she gives me permission)
Yeah, it was a tad warm. It was recorded as being 113 degrees one day while we were there. (Yet I saw a woman wearing a leather jacket ? )
We talked to a couple from Los Angeles and they said it had been in the 120s. (it's a "dry heat"). BS...110+ is HOT no matter how you look at it.
Our 25th is this year as well. I still can't believe she's put up with me for all these years. I'm one lucky dude.
We hit 20 this year. ?ÿNot bad for a pair of retreads.
In March we celebrated the first anniversary of 40 years of marriage.?ÿ I don't believe I'll make it for another 40.

My standard reply to that is: "So's my oven, but I don't put my head in it"
