I have a waywiser ...

> So 1,650,000,000 feet. The thing would have fallen apart long before you could have pushed it that far.

Not to mention a fairly significant accumulated error (assuming the wheel isn't exactly 16.5 feet in circumference).

The wheel is actualy a half pole wheel and is as close to a half pole as you could hope to have made it back in the 1800's. It's an iron wheel so the wear rate would be low, but it would still wear out.

Might as well stop at 42.
According to Zaphod Beeblebrox it is the number of the universe.

However, I prefer 186,282.3970

Lines form on my face and hands lines form from the ups and downs
I'm in the middle without any plans I'm a boy and I'm a man
I'm eighteen and I don't know what I want eighteen I just don't know what I want
Eighteen I gotta get away I gotta get out of this place I'll go runnin' in outer space oh yeah
I got a baby's brain and an old man's heart took eighteen years to get this far
Don't always know what I'm talkin' about feels like I'm livin' in the middle of doubt
'cause I'm eighteen I get confused every day eighteen I just don't know what to say eighteen I gotta get away
Whoa lines form on my face and my hands lines form on the left and right
I'm in the middle the middle of life I'm a boy and I'm a man
I'm eighteen and I like it yes I like it oh I like it love it like it love it
Eighteen eighteen eighteen eighteen and I like it

Have we now "jumped the shark"??

Whataya want Andy:

1) How high can we count, or

2) What a day - first I go out in the field and see four different monuments where I’m looking for a corner; then I get back to the office and find out that someone bid half of what I did for a big job; later in the day “ring ring” goes the phone and either a realtor asks for something ridiculously cheap; or an engineer asks a stupid question, I forget which; by the way can someone covert a FEMA form into WordPerfect 3.1 for me and why is the text in my drawing suddenly rotated 12 degrees clockwise?

are the two question marks 'wild cards'? that might get us through to 99. What would happen if you put in asterisks?
