I don't have a camera to post a photo so I would have no clue how to describe it. It's somewhat viney with a "knuckle" every couple of inches or so, with leaves similar to a maple about the size of a golfball. The biggest leaves have 3 sarates (sp?) on each side with a point at the tip.

Any websites useful for this endeavor?
E.

No where near that many points on the leaves.

If anyone out there has an old digital camera lying around, I'd be happy to give it a new home!

You could always take a cutting into a local nursery or plant store, and they may be able to help you out. If it's a viney type plant, I'm sure it will grow back quickly. Plus they can give some advice on caring for it, assuming it's not a pest

Roger that Wayne. My landlord already took some pics of it to take to the nursery but he's about scatter brained and forgets stuff. Lord knows how many projects he has started around my place and either I have to pester him constantly for just finish them myself and tell him afterwards. You would think being the chief building inspector around here he would kept track of his own property(ies) - but alas.
I talked to him earlier today about the plant and he had indeed forgot but said he would get back to me later today or tomorrow - we'll see. 😉

If you can't describe it and can't google a picture of it, then you are going to have to rely on an elderly neighbor to identify it.

Nice idea but I have no elderly neighbors. A former neighbor gave it to me. This seems to be an indoor plant. Least that's what they said. I really don't know. It's not a climbing ivy of any sort.
Wish it was a fern. I always loved ferns. Especially those big ole giant Boston ferns. Of course if they too well, they'll block out window. Been my experience.

Perhaps I can take a couple of clippings and scan it on the flatbed. That should work.
I have no clue how to upload pics here however.
