...but we have the Patriot act, Dodge is now part of Italian automaker Fiat and our people are "moved"? by cornball, "hide behind the flag", misleading commercials.

Not raining on my parade
I think it is silly to wrap cars in patriotism to sell but I still think it is a cool commercial. I'm sure some simpleton's purchase decision was influenced by this commercial but I can't say I'll be buying one anytime soon.

Since Fiat also owns the former Ford Tractors, I was hoping that they'd start calling them "Dodge Tractors" instead of "New Holland".
I like the commercial. It hasn't affected my opinion of wanting one. I've wanted one since the first reports of them came out about 3 years ago.

I just saw it again and though how interesting it might be to edit out the automobiles with the aid of computer magic. The Washington actor is not remarkably Washingtonesque, but does some to have the missing teeth/collapsed jawline and stern visage one would expect of the real deal. I would enjoy the revolutionary imagery without the preposterous automobiles.
Awww man... Makes me miss my "Sharlet". A 1971 Dodge Demon. I LOVED that car!! 🙁
