Back from our 3 week road trip.

West through NY, PA, OH, IN and into MI to Benton Harbor, Traverse City, Petrosky, Wilderness SP MI, Mackinac City, Sault St Marie, and along Lake Superior through Pictured Rocks to Houton & Copper Harbor on the Keewanah Peninsula. Through Porcupine Mountains to Asland WI.

Then west to Duluth, northeast along the lake to Two Harbors, Grand Marais, Minnesota's high point at Eagle Mountain. Then into Ontario to Sleeping Giant Park, easterly to Wawa Ont, north to Timmons, then Southeast to North Bay Ontario, east along the ottawa river then south into the US to Waddinton NY, then east back to NH.

More later.

If you were piling up "frequent driver" miles you should be good for a free trip to the moon by now. How many miles total?

4300 MILES total.

Here's a sunset from the campsite at Wilderness SP in Michigan in the lower peninsula about 15 miles west of the Mackinac Bridge to the U.P. You can just see the Upper Peninsula in the distance.

Wow is all this ex yooper can say. Lots of stuff in only 3 weeks. Don't know how you did it all, but the best thing is that you did and are home safe.

Glad you made it to Cooper Harbor & the Porkies. Per chance, a beverage at the beverage facility (bar) in downtown Ontonogan (can't recall the name, but it's on the left side of the road just past the only traffic light). That would be the one with the huge black bear taller than any of us... even you Nor'Easterners.

cheers
