That made me laugh out loud...
Another classic for a Friday
I'm not a big country music fan - but this turned up recently - and made me laugh...
?ÿ
Back in the ??olden days? when we could get really good and stoned, and not be worried about a heart malfunction, we used to listen to ELP And Loggins and Messina for hours to cool down from Pink Floyd. And after 2 or 3 bottles of fine wine, Strawberry Hill, or Blue Nun had been consumed/spilled.?ÿ?????ÿ
Classic, enjoy.... There is hope.

Those were the days my friend...to coin a phrase.?ÿ 😉
I listened to all of it.?ÿ I was especially fond of CCR, CS&N or Grand Funk.?ÿ Moody Blues was a good one also.?ÿ It's hard to name a favorite.
I remember I had Led Zeppelin's first LP.?ÿ I had a turntable that would replay (over and over) an LP if it was the only one on the turntable.?ÿ My roommate thought Led Zeppelin was crap.?ÿ I was always passing out in a hashish induced coma with Zeppelin playing over and over.?ÿ My roomy always threatened to break that LP...
I remember hitchhiking to Dallas in late '71 to see the Moody Blues...uh, let me rephrase that...I remember very little about hitchhiking to Dallas in late '71 to see the Moody Blues.?ÿ?ÿI do remember it was cold and a t-shirt and an unlined Levi's jean jacket offered very little protection from a cold north wind.
I found Gabriella on YouTube, she is very talented and has some great classic covers.?ÿ Lets get Friday kicked off.?ÿ Enjoy.
?ÿ
let's go folky with Comas
Talented and pretty, hope she uses both for a successful future. ?????ÿ
That guitar solo version is probably the greatest of all time, have listened/watched it hundreds of times. However, I seem to recall reading in the book "The Hammer of the Gods" that this solo is a patchwork of bits from a number of live performances on the 6/12.
