My daughter lives in Menlo Park. Those were lots for summer cabins for San Franciscans to go down peninsula in the summer so they could warm up.

not likely, the Plat in that era was just a diagram. Obviously someone laid it out.

That doesn't surprise me.?ÿ I had the pleasure of retracing a similarly drawn plat in downtown Colorado Springs about 25 years ago.
