I am fond of conspiracy thrillers, Vince Flynn, Clive Custler, Brad Thor, Marc Cameron and other of that genre. But I put James Rollins at the top of my list. I like how he always mixes some history, science, some conspiracy and a bit of drama. I had no idea of a zoonoses until I read one of his books.
Are there any others of the James Rollins style??ÿ

If you ever want a light, comical read, I really enjoyed Jimmy Buffet's fiction books. Salty Piece of Land is a fun read.

Alan Furst has written a number of really interesting pre/early WW2?ÿ historical spy novels.?ÿ A number of them are set in places & with characters that are usually not emphasized in american WW2 fiction (e.g. stories set in the Balkans, orwhere the protagonist is a Polish military?ÿ intelligence officer playing the Germans and Russians off each other before the invasion)?ÿ ?ÿ?ÿ
FYI...this is a great website where they ask authors/experts to list what they think are the five best books related to their field/subject matter
