Had to put down our faithful dog of 13 years. She had seizures that kept getting worse and worse. She had a good disposition all these years and made a good companion. These are a couple of shots of her last day (Sunday). She was to a point where she could hardly stand up without collapsing.
(Not to take away from the much bigger problems going on with the tornado devastation and Wendell and Angel's family).
She was a Basset Hound (and I think Dachshund) mix
That's always a tough one.
Just remember that you gave her a great life!
I feel ya. It's hard letting a good friend go. My Golden's 12 and I'll be a basket case when she goes.
She was a fine looking dog. I'm sure you gave her a great life and you will always be a better person because of her.
She was beautiful... So sorry for your loss. :'(
That's tough. The only thing harder than putting down your canine buddy is sitting with him or her as they go through seizures on a regular basis.
My condolences to your family.
that is sad... my most miserable days were the ones when I had to put down my best buddies. But yeah...you gave her a good life... not all are as lucky.
