This story confirms the trend, and blames some of it on more men than women smoking and damaging their lungs. But it says that hormones are somehow responsible for some of the difference, too.?ÿ Something to do with estrogen keeping the immune system revved up.
I was just chalking it up to them just being meaner in general... but you can bet your sweet bippy (see what I did there @dougie ) I won??t tell her that.
Statistics aren't worth a great deal in a one on one situation.?ÿ That's one man versus one ailment.?ÿ The catch is that men are more likely to have the pre-existing health concerns that give this stuff a better chance of finding a home.

Given the age group of the most serious cases, I assume that most men in that cohort are married and have just lost the will to live.?ÿ?ÿ
For years my wife has told me that if she goes first she wants to be buried first, then notify others that she is gone.?ÿ Current funerals are headed that way.?ÿ Social distancing and certain major life events just don't go together.
