I know this is the vegetable that everyone loves to hate, but so help me, I like brocoli.

Asparagus is another matter; I can't stand asparagus. Of the 2 parents and 5 children I grew up with I'm the only one that can't asparagus. Maybe I'm defective.

I also love Spinach.

You crack me up, Karoly

I was just thinking when I posted that Dean Matin thing: " this is a Dave Karoly post, but I'm not gonna wait for him. "

I have several brocli plants growing, along with squash, corn, sunflowers, several varieties of peppers, tomatoes, okra, cantelope, watermelon, onions, cilantro, peas, beans, cucumbers, zucciny . We need to eat with what's coming. I know I butcherd the spelling on some. Thought I'd mention that before the spelling police arrive.

have a nice evening

PS notice no asparagus..lol

Dean Martin was one of the greatest entertainers the world has ever seen.

There is a great video of Dean almost charming the panties off of a female actress on his 1970s variety show but I can't remember her name due to too many Martinis this evening. She is the blonde with the huge eyes. My Gawd, why couldn't I have been born with his talent?

I love zuccini bread. We are already harvesting those with squash, tomatoes, cucumbers. Will be a lot of canning in our house. I might add my better half cans some awesome dill pickles. Her plan is to try salsa this year. I bet it turns out well too.

You will not be allowed to eat the stuff that you spelled incorrectly. LOL

My Brother the Chef hates tomatoes which I think is just plain strange. I don't know what my Parents did to him to make him hate anything as wonderful as tomatoes.

I always thought being able to grow it, was better than spelling it. I wonder how many spellers, could actually grow their own. lol

Just a thought.

Your a good man Dave K. We have seen you grow and mature here through the years. 🙂
I am glad you are eating most of your vegetables.

I like my veggies but the one that I can't abide with is baby corn.
I find it pretty disgusting to the point of nausea and I don't get it at all. Why can't they just let it grow?

Think of it as the veal of the vegetable world....nope, still friggen nasty! Broccoli is the bees knees, as is spinach. I noticed quite a change in taste when I changed my diet and dropped all the sugary crud, broccoli is great!

Broccoli

I like it steamed with a bit of fresh lemon juice instead of butter.
try lightly steamed asparagus tips wrapped with a little prosciutto - great appetizer.

I like almost all veggies

Corn, peas (except canned English peas), blackeyed peas, white liquor peas, okra (any way you cook it even boiled), broccoli, spinach, collards, turnips (greens and roots), TOMATOES, squash of all kinds, Brussell sprouts. I don't like beets though.

Dig em all.
I do wonder about Brociflower. Some things were not meant to be mixed.
