Hmmm I always thought FTW stood for a more anti-social saying. But I am watching Breaking Bad for the second time. Watched a few years ago...amazing how I can totally forget a tv episode.

PC was a poster long ago. Paul Cook in southern California. His house was slowly sliding downhill with the rest of his neighborhood. Great guy.

FTW = F*** the World?? Feed The Whales?? Find The Wealth? Now you have me curious. :smarty:

Wendell and I binge watched Breaking Bad last year when we were snowed in. I use to chat back and forth with Ryan Versteeg about this show. He kept telling me to wait for the "Pizza" episode. After that episode, I craved pizza for some reason so W and I would bring one home on binge watching days.

We need a pizza smiley! :clink:

Yes it was "F*** the World"... maybe due to my past association with biker types and Punk rock influenced youth.

I ditched satellite tv a few years ago and just watch Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon now. I watched a couple of episodes of Black Mirror because of this thread...I will probably get in a few more today whilst drafting.

After I got my last bill for cable television I am considering terminating my service and going back to reading and house cleaning. It will be good preparation for my retirement, where there is no television...

Around here, prices for "plain old" internet (without all the "extra" channels) service has been skyrocketing over the past few years. Since the vast majority of us need (or are at least highly dependent on) internet, there is no escaping the cost in most cases.

They still make good old TV antennas that you can put on your roof or somewhere else high in the air. I live in the boondocks and can get 16 channels.

I do have a Leaf over the air antenna that I picked up at Walmart. I even have a TABLO over the air dvr. I rarely watch either really. I like tv on my terms and since I don't always hear so well....I like to "rewind" it.

I live in the City where cable television was first test marketed. Without cable I can get 1 channel marginally and can also get poor quality audio only for 2 others.
