Yesterday my wife stood in line for 4 hours to get a Wii U, which may end up being one of those impossible to get gifts that kids want this year. I thought that was bad, but then I saw this today:
There were 9 tents set up in front of this Best Buy by people intending to camp out for 6 days to get a few hundred dollars off a product.
Conditioned response:
Retailers have the consuming public conditioned. When they ring a bell, we poop money. It's a sad thing, but true.
Best defense against the "Big Boxers" is to not shop there.
If ya cannot beat 'em in the courts, beat 'em at the bottom line !

Oh oh...I shouldn't have looked at those...I found a few things I want!!! :-O B-)
I got hired by a sales outfit when was 21 to be trained in what Inow know to be high pressure techniques (fear of loss is the main one I remember). I lasted 1/2 day, just couldn't stomach it.
Angel,
Deep Breath..... DEEP BREATH.... let it out....
Now go that happy place, soaking up rays on a sandy beach...... and breath again... remember... it's the sun, the sand, the simplicity that is more important....
Oh, well, worth a try......

We were suppose to go there one year, back when it was safe to just drive over. I wish we would have. :sun:
Black Friday ... sandy beaches
there's no more danger driving into Mexico now than in years before. We cross into Sonora at the Lukeville border crossing - we got the red light on the way in, inspection time - everything good and no food taken. 6 beautiful days on the beach, then back home again Monday afternoon - got the secondary check at the border coming back into Arizona, got sent inside the CBP building and sat on the group "W" bench (Alice's Restaurant joke). we were sent on our way in 10 minutes - nothing taken/confiscated. we had nothing to hide, so we weren't worried.
seems the media likes to make a big deal about about the dangers in Mexico, with all the cartels and shootings - but if you're smart, and avoid the bad neighborhoods and wandering around places you shouldn't at night - you're fine. the pic I posted is from the "second estuary - La Pinta", about 25 miles SE of Rocky Point.
