Thanks for all the tips for our trip. I didn't get to go nearly as much as I'd have liked (lack of funds don't you know). We did see a couple of shows (Cirque de Soleil and Rock of Ages) and did a LOT of sight seeing. My wife had given me a pedometer and I logged something over 120,000 steps up and down the Strip. I did a lot of people watching, there are some strange people (me included I guess) that visit Vegas. I heard lots of different languages and accents. No, I didn't drop any money in the casinos but you have to pass through them to get anywhere. There was a week long music festival at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, the Electric Daisy Festival. WOW, some of the "costumes" the attendees wore (or didn't wear). I handled the heat better than I thought, I stayed on the shaded side of the street and drank LOTS of water (don't tell Ted). Now I've just got to readjust to "normal" (EDT) time.

Andy

P.S. I tried to post some pics but it would time out on me every time I tried. File too large maybe.

Andy,
the reason you can't post pics is because: "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas".

Most likely the files are too big. Since the resizing of images takes place on the server itself, it is limited on how large the uploaded files can be. I believe the limit is 2MB. If you use a nifty little program like Irfanview, you can do batch resizing on the images and then upload those. 🙂

These were women on stilts that when they were still you could not tell they were "alive".

See if it worked this time. If so, Thanks Wendell.

I have several aluminum caps with my Nevada No. along the strip.

It was very difficult to survey with all of the foot traffic.

That's pretty cool, Randy.

Yeah, that foot traffic along the strip can be very distracting.
