True story here locally:

Festivus Pole displayed at State Capitol

This one was slipped in by some schlemiel to represent the local Gay Alliance. Rather than go through the whole routine of bad press, the Capitol Holiday Committee allowed it. I could care less, actually, but it is funny.

Now the legislature is all up in arms because the Supreme Court just made them take down a Ten Commandments display a few months ago...but it's OK to have a Festivus Pole....welcome to the new millennium, kiddies...

Let the Airing of Grievances begin!!
