As a lifelong Yankee fan (Yogi, Mickey, Whitey, etc.), I have been following this years Yanks with hopes for No 28 (World Series Wins), but I have no delusions about October. The Playoffs should be awesome, and I will probably watch ALL of the games (starting tonight).

I have some "friends" that are die hard Cub fans. They also claim to be very nice "Christian" people. Well, when the Cardinals play, they make sure they get their digs in and turn two faced on me. They pick on me, bully me, etc...for being a Cardinals fan. I say nothing in return, except to remind them that there are wonderful?ÿ "Christians" on the Cardinals team. Otherwise, I refuse to bash back! I figure Karma will handle itself. Every time they piped up about the Cardinals, the Cards won! 😎 ?ÿ I know my boys may not get very far in this season, but...at least they made it. 😉 ?ÿ

I appreciate the heads up about the opener for the Blues.?ÿ I was able to watch the raising of the banner. Very cool. I used to be a big hockey fan 20 years ago but haven't really watched it much in the last couple of decades.?ÿ Remind me what the story is with the song "Gloria".?ÿ Watching the ceremony I was wondering what the deal was with the disco music while all that was going on, but remembered it has some significance sort of like "Sweet Caroline" for the Red Sox.
