Thanks everyone! I really appreciate the interest. I haven't done it like this before and thought it might be nice to have a small group checking things before victimizing all 12,000 members. ???? ???œ?ÿ

I have a test site setup and I've installed the beta, but it's pretty rough around the edges. I'm going to wait until the first round of fixes are released in beta2 before I open the gates. That shouldn't take too long though, I'm thinking maybe a week or so.

Plus, I decided to make the updated site run on PHP 8.0 -- if you keep up on these things, you'll know that PHP 8 has some big improvements to security and speed. With that installed on the test site, I can help achieve compatibility. In my initial tests, it seems that it's already 95% compatible.

The beta site will be accessible by invitation only. Once it's ready to test, I'll post here again plus you'll receive an invitation via email. ?????ÿ

Thanks again for your willingness to test!

@wendell I assume you want testing on both PC and mobile platforms, correct?

Yes, if possible. That would be great. 🙂

Alright, kids. Getting close to sending out beta tester invitations. They will be in the form of emails from danglingnode.com -- I'll let you know via this thread right after they are sent, so you can watch for them (they may go to your spam or junk folder).

Should only be another day or so, perhaps this evening.

Thank you to everyone that has shown interest! ????

@wendell I could not log in or register using the link provided. I responded using email address in the notice.

"Error: User registration is currently not allowed."

@peter-ehlert?ÿ

It said what Peter quoted.?ÿ But it let me try to log in, and my surveyorconnect user name and password, email and password, email and the code I was sent, all failed.

Trying to register, add username and email, select "not a robot" and input invitation code. Registration does not complete and I get this error message.

Trying to register via "link", I get the error message stating that "user registration is currently not allowed". I haven't established a password at this point but it's asking for one.

Err RegisterLink
