The fact not mentioned in that 'rant" post was that I voted for the politician on his first election here. Second time could not find "none of the above' lever.

My PawPaw James used to say if the Queen had balls she'd be King.
This must be a surveyor thing. This sort of stuff absolutely never happens on the model railroader forum. Out of curiosity I looked up their posting rules.
Basically it just says "it's PG rated and family forum so be nice".
I've never seen anything offensive.

Seriously, We just had a baby.
My neighbor just had a new baby, (at home, God bless her) and my wife and daughter came along to assist. She is a tiny woman, and the baby was big. She did well. 30 hrs of labor.
DHS deigned to pay me a visit.
And, 4 of my kids friends, at the local nursing home died. My daughter makes stuff for them, to encourage them.
And, My "Pray for Nate" thread got deleted.
Were nearly out of toilet paper.

People that are wise enough to enjoy playing with trains do not need all that in your face "I challenge your fairy tale beliefs" crap. I would rather spend time building new N gage cars than trying to figure out how to attack someone over something that I did not believe. That's just a waste of time, while a well built N gage is a thing of beauty.
I loathe, despise and detest "in your face" people. Usually they are just trying to cover up a tiny willie. :-$
If what someone else believes (or doesn't) threatens you or your choice it's time to reevaluate where you stand. It's a shame Wendell has to set this rule but I would too if it were my site. Plus everyone would have to include purple in their avatar. I like purple;-)
I think Wendell is right. NO BODY should pray for politicians. It might encourage them.:angel:
