The aforementioned statistical analysis was run through STAR*NET I hope!

Beautiful baby, as are all your children, congratulations!

And a real big congratulations to Rachel because realistically she did the ALL of the work, you just did the fun part! :scream:

Positive thoughts your way. 😎

I spent the last 3 wks in alot of prayer. I know this sounds odd... but Literally a good home birth, has dad praying almost non stop, and in a sense laying down a "field of fire", to make a spiritually "safe zone" for momma to win. I am not saying that my labor, and Rachel's labor were the same... they are not, but I am saying that when you do home birth, you also take unto yourself the responsibility, if things "Jump track".
Pursuant to Eph 6, and others, Dad plays an important role, in a good outcome.
Today, mom is quite tired and sore. But, baby is fine.
I like the old statement, "Either there is a God who made this place, or there is not". As I accept that there is a God, and that he did visit the earth, 2000 yrs ago, in Christ, then it is a worthwhile endeavor to pray. Real men pray alot, is my thinking.
I hope everyone has a great day. I'm walking on air, I'm so happy!

Nate

Congrats Nate! We didn't name our son until 2-3 weeks after he was born. It drove my mom crazy for some reason! Eight days sounds better.

Rachel's mom literally went through the roof... "It's not like you didn't have 9 months to think of a name!" she spat emphatically.
And then, took it personally, each time it happened.
I think it's funny.
If they are gonna get in a wad over that....forget it.
Life's too short for unthankfulnes.

Congratulations Rachel and Nate.

You know 11 is an odd number. I came from a family of 7, our uncle up the street had 7, my aunt next door was a slacker with only 4. Down the road neighbors had 11 and then took in a foster child to fill out the egg carton. As a teenager I did yard work for them and babysat them, but that was around the eight count. When I was a bit older I was reading the scripture at Mass and read "thy wife shall be like a fruitful vine" and happened to look up and there they were in the first two rows. The whole congregation snickered, but the nickname stuck.

You could always let the child choose. Our daughter was going through a some names and when she said Elijah he got the biggest smile on his face and then it was done. That was a very good moment to be there.

Paul, Arlene, Allison and Jonathan plus Joshua, Nicole, Kayleen, Chloe, Anna, Elijah and Nathan.

With 11 kids you could be a grandpa before you know it!

Most excellent way to start my day - thanks and congratulations.

Nate,

You are an awesome example of what a man should be. Congratulations!

I also need to inform you that your recent prayers for my sister, along with those from many others were heard very clearly. My sister is making a miraculous recovery. The doctors do not have an explanation...which suits me just fine.
