Hello. I've been looking around for a user friendly surveyors forum. This seems like the place. Lots of good information and great people from what I can tell.
I've been surveying in the San Diego area for about 30 years, all in the private sector. I've been licensed in CA since 1992. The majority of my work the last 20 years has been in the office, mostly working on large development projects. Hopefully I can contribute some information and/or advice to some here.
Cheers,
Dave

Thanks. The course has been around since the 80s. Without it I might not be licensed either.
User Friendly as in Easy to Use, then you are in the right place.
User Friendly in that we have to be friendly, we will put you in your right place.
But welcome either way.
By the looks of your avatar you owe us a few licks.

You would much prefer licks from the guy in the avatar. If I ever get around to recording some of my stuff I'll post it here or provide a link to where it is.

Got mine in CA in 1990. Surveyed around Riverside and up in YuppieVille.
Have fun here.
