I spent a few years there in the mid '80s, Groton, New London area.

HOWDY! Well, it ain't the ship of Zion, but it ain't no canoe, neither.
It's a dandy addition to your toolbox.
Keep flame retardant cover very close, and many grains of salt.

What part of CT. I Worked in SW CT for about 1.5 years in the late 80's. One of our current contributors is currently working from just a few miles from where I used to work.

I worked near there a few times. That is about as far east as we went. I did work further north, about 2 miles south of the MA line.

If you ever get to Monroe, just a little north of Bridgeport, look up Charlie Galian, Retired LSX 0011621, and tell him I said Hi. I used to work for him.
