?ÿHi everyone, I'm an articling surveyor from Ontario. I joined your community in search of a larger pool of surveying knowledge. I'm working in Hamilton, a city that I love (even though others may refer to it as the armpit of Ontario). I previously worked in western Canada, primarily in the oil patch as a civil engineer specializing in all things water. I look forward to contributing to the forum and learning about all facets of the profession!

?ÿ

Hi Vern, it's a paid position. Ontario surveyors must obtain a minimum of 1.5 yrs experience (field and office) as well as be successful in a set of exams prior to becoming an Ontario Land Surveyor. Much more experience is needed in order to become a competent surveyor...?ÿ ?ÿ
