Bienvenido!

Do you have PLSS or Metes and Bounds in Chile, for your Cadastre?

Welcome to this board. It is always nice to read of activities in other parts of the world.

I did a little work in Chile in the early 1990s using GPS on a project in Santiago and its environs wit the DGAC. Enjoyed it very much. Unfortunately I did not get a chance to visit much of the rest of the country.

I note that there is a SIRGAS conference in November of this year. See: http://ingenieria.uncuyo.edu.ar/sirgas2017/

Yea, I lived there three different times in my life, 1966-1967 (2+ years), then again in 1975 and 1978 for 4 months each time. Been there to visit many more times.

I visited Chile in a joint military exercise in the early 90s that included the entire South American coastline. Chile was the hands down favorite for everyone on board my ship. Welcome to the forum.

Thanks for every ones.
Chile shake a lot, at 2010 we had a big earthquake (8.8), Concepcion moved 6 meters to the west and 3m down.
