It is wonderful to see this board returning to life. For much of the Summer months we could hear crickets chirping around here.
So, I guess what I'm asking is like what your grade school teacher asked you the first week of school, "What did you do this Summer?"
>"What did you do this Summer?"
Worked...went to Maine...ate a lot of lobster & clams
Unfortunately, I was out of state for 3 months taking care of 2 relatives dying from cancer. :'(
Hence why you guys rarely saw me on here. One passed on May 22nd, age 64, the other in my arms on July 16th, age 60. I got home in late August and just had to chill out for a while and process everything I went through. I think I am still processing it all...:bored:
Fortunately, I did have some fun days while away; I managed to go to a Cardinals game and watch my boys get their butts beat! :-O Let's hope this does NOT happen again for the rest of the year. 😉
"What did you do this Summer?"
Spent most of my time counterfeiting weekend passes to escape from “The Repository for Mentally Insane Surveyors”. 😉
oh yes, and taught my 2.75 year old Grandson to swim, and how to use a "Super Soaker". If you have Grandchildren DO NOT allow them to squirt Grandma in the face.
Benched from the field with a bum hip. Need a new one and a new knee also. Trouble is, my normal, end of the season buffer isn't there. Can't afford to take 3 months off, even in the winter.

😉
I spend at least one weekend per month in New Orleans and one weekend saltwater fishing. Other two weekends are mostly honey dew projects.
Winter time I still do New Orleans and deer and duck hunt the other weekends.

Hope you are fine now....strange thing, I turned 64 on May 22nd.....
Had my first grandson!! Well - actually I didn't have him...
