I was always wondering what 'beer leg' was in reference to. Very cool

Me: what'ta yer gonna do with it?
Hoarder(s): Keep it. Might be useful for something someday, somehow, someway. Plus its got sentimental value.

Me: Get rid of it. Its just gonna sit around, not being of any use to anyone.
Hoarder(s): But it'd pain me to see someone else take it and make something of it that I coulda, shoulda, woulda wisht I'd hadda done.

Truthfully, I'm just being a hypocrite. I've got 2 shops full of tools. And heavy equipment galore. Much of it just sits, some of it has never been used. So, keep it. Stick it in a drawer. Someday when they cart you off someone will be stuck with the task of diggng through your stuff and will come across it and then, and only then, will it be tossed, sold or given away.

Hey, now there's an idea. "..sold..." Auction it off. Some crazed and delusioned surveyor with a few quid in his pocket might pay big bucks for it and start his own world for the love of surveying. Obviously with no regard to political correctness or rules of any kind. Someplace for the TDDs, Keiths and assorted fence stakers to congregate and condemn all those deemed to be of a lessor steel.

...

Sorry for the babble, carry on and have a great weekend. Stay cool by the pool if you're in my neck of the woods. Its 106 and still heating up.

Keep it as it is... redirecting. Make your decision, after a year or so.

That'll cost you one trip to Hawaii. B-)
